Data the service may process
To provide the caption and short-video workflow, the service may process account information, organization membership, uploaded videos, audio derivatives, transcripts, caption edits, display-script choices, brand assets, usage records, subscription metadata, technical logs, and support messages.
Why it is processed
- Create and maintain an account and organization workspace.
- Upload, prepare, transcribe, edit, render, and deliver a customer video.
- Apply usage limits, plan entitlements, billing state, and abuse controls.
- Monitor reliability, investigate failures, respond to support requests, and protect the service.
AI and infrastructure providers
Uploaded media, audio, and transcript text may be sent to the configured transcription or AI processing provider when required to provide the service. The final policy must name the active processors, their purposes, applicable transfer terms, retention commitments, and the deletion path.
Optional analytics and privacy choices
If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 receives allowlisted visit and product-usage events and may use analytics cookies. Vidtone does not send video or audio content, transcript or caption text, filenames, project identifiers, or organization identifiers in these events. If you decline, the Google Analytics tag stays unloaded. You can change your choice at any time in Profile settings or below; withdrawing consent stops further app analytics events and removes Google Analytics cookies.
Retention and deletion
Retention is plan- and product-policy dependent. Do not rely on this draft for a deletion deadline. The final policy must match the deployed cleanup jobs, project/account deletion behavior, export retention, source retention, and any support-assisted deletion process.
